Unnamed Idle RPG Prototype - v0.06 update


Hey all,

So I've been plugging away on my Idle Slayer meets Idle RPG concept -- It still has no name but is starting to look/feel like a game which is cool.

Since my last post I've added quite a bit:

  • Saving is 90% ready -- so this will be the last build (hopefully) without it.
  • More talents and talent hierarchy
  • Honing equipment (+1, +2, +3, etc)
  • Imbue equipment (Add rng modifiers)
  • Iris rarities
  • Enemy shiny
  • Recipes
  • New Stats: Drop Chance, Drop Rarity, Multistrike, Elite Damage, Shiny Rate
  • Damage meter
  • New level
  • New seeker
  • Hunting skill & minigame
  • Crafting recipes & tiered crafting materials
  • A dozen or so sound effects


As per feedback from the last post and from tests:

  • Gathering minigames have automode unlock from the jump
  • Softer font color (UI is placeholder anyways)
  • Popup audio cue and visual cue (First pass)
  • Setting toggles for health bars

On top of countless tweaks and things I probably don't remember.

My goal at the moment is less about the values on the talents feeling balanced and more that talents that indicate that they require the one before it... actually require the one before it and unlock what it says it unlocks and uses talent points. I feel that because the game has graphics even if I say prototype people don't see prototype.

I welcome all feedback but I really just want to know when something doesn't work.

You may see a lot of, "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" or blank UI elements/menus -- these are just being built out as I go. I am taking a whatever I am interested in doing when I get home from work style of development here.
